Anne-Marie Pizzitelli
Head of Marketing, Built Environment, BSI Group Inc.

Anne-Marie Pizzitelli has been with BSI since 2008. In her role, Pizzitelli is responsible for marketing & communications strategies and market development opportunities for BSI. She works to understand client business needs, sector drivers and challenges, and promotes solutions to support these requirements. In her new role, Pizzitelli is responsible for the Built Environment Sector in the Americas, and has led discussions around BIM and the ISO 19650 international standard, most recently at Midwest Build 2021. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto (French) and Humber College (Marketing), and is trilingual speaking English, French, and Italian.

Connor Christian, PE
Senior Product Manager, Procore Technologies

Connor Christian is a licensed professional engineer in Minnesota with 16 years of experience that he has focused on bringing new technology into daily practice by creating procedures and tools that can be used by everyone, by developing processes that meet the needs of his partners and clients, and by interfacing with other industry experts to ensure the latest methods are being employed.

Christian has been able to work towards these goals because of a unique background that combines his experience in construction, consulting, and software development. In his career Christian has worked on projects in industries that include that include transportation, buildings, and water management. He uses his practical experience and technical knowledge to find the best BIM solutions for his clients.

Outside of Procore he has worked to make BIM successful for the industry as a whole. Christian's drive to standardize BIM in the industry led him to get involved in AASHTO, the National BIM Council, Building SMART International, the BIMForum, US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)/Industry BIM Consortia, and the United Brotherhood of Carpenters.

Rachel Riopel, AIA, NCARB
Digital Practice Leader, HDR

Rachel Riopel is HDR’s Digital Practice Leader, a registered architect, with over 16 years of experience in multidisciplinary architectural practice and technology leadership. She has been involved with both international industry and government focused collaboration efforts, and champions practical approaches to innovation and applied design technology. Her mission is to empower HDR’s practices with effective applications of technology. Her primary focus is to maximize efficiency and improve quality of project delivery by driving measurable results.

Rahul Shah
Sector Development Director, BSI Group Inc.

Rahul Shah has worked for and with asset owners, main contractors, architects, engineers and manufacturers. With over 23 years of experience, he has held leadership roles responsible for driving digital transformation, innovation, and leading on BIM strategy and implementation programmes globally. During his career Shah has gained experience of implementing various digital initiatives on a diverse range of projects, including large scale multi-billion-pound urban regeneration schemes through to hospitals, airports, residential, commercial, data centres, mixed-use public spaces, stadiums and metros. He has gained thorough understanding of the risks and opportunities faced by today’s global construction businesses while going through digitalization.

Shah joined BSI as Sector Development Director, EMEA Built Environment in April 2020 supporting key clients in Digital Transformation, Innovation, BIM, Digital Twin, Smart Cities, IoT, and Information Security.
