Bob Payn
Senior Director Information Technology, NIBS

Bob Payn is the Senior Director of Information Technology with NIBS and has been working with the organization for more than 20 years. Payn is responsible for providing strategic planning/consulting for NIBS’ websites, web-related projects, internal/external network, and technology policy. His duties include creating internal policies for web-related development and network administration; managing specific NIBS projects, including the Whole Building Design Guide; assisting with the management and development of NIBS’ association management system; providing editing, programming, and support for various web projects and initiatives. Payn also acts as the NIBS Facility Security Officer, managing facility and staff clearances. He has 25 years of experience with information systems, databases and website production, particularly with design and construction data. His skillset is in open-source technologies, and he is a designer and programmer proficient in HTML, Javascript, PHP and XML.

LCDR Kevin Dunn
MS, CIH, NIOSH/HETAB

Lieutenant Commander Dunn is an environmental health officer in the United States Public Health Service and an Industrial Hygienist with CDC/NIOSH. He received his Masters of Science in Environmental Health and Industrial Hygiene from the University of Cincinnati and is a Certified Industrial Hygienist. He has been with NIOSH since 1998 and is currently the Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Field Studies Team Leader and the Exposure Assessment Critical Area Coordinator for the NIOSH Nanotechnology Research Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. LCDR has been active in the CDC/NIOSH COVID-19 response since January 2020, developing guidance for the safe return to work and reopening of businesses.

Christoph Lohr
PE, CPD, LEED AP BD+C, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, IAPMO

Christoph Lohr has more than a decade of experience in designing plumbing systems for healthcare, laboratory, hospitality, sports, and university projects. He has a reputation as a results-oriented expert. Lohr’s current responsibilities as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for IAPMO is to identify long-term, high-impact projects, developing a business case for them, bringing resources to bear, and executing them for maximum results. He has a concentrated focus in honing his personal and organization's strategy on possible breakthrough points which has led to improved effectiveness and growth.

Lohr's professional activities in the industry extend into multiple volunteer associations, of which he also assumed leadership roles setting strategy and direction for teams, including ASPE Phoenix Chapter, ASPE Society, ASPE Legionella Working Group, ASHRAE Committees, PIPE Trust of Arizona, IAPMO’s Safe Building Reopening Best Practices, among others.

Jennifer Mercer
National Co-op Sales and Marketing Manager, Facility Solutions Group

Jennifer Mercer is the National Co-op Sales and Marketing Manager at Facility Solutions Group. She has an extensive background in lighting design and disinfection technology, which has enabled her to help clients design solutions to safely disinfect their facilities. Mercer joined FSG in 2018, and she works closely with a variety of Co-op groups from the education segment to first responders. Facility Solutions Group is a leading single-source provider of lighting, electrical, energy, signage, and technology solutions.

Greg Walker
Director of Research, Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA)

Walker is an accomplished research and business operations professional with years of experience in science research and strategic business planning for non-profit and Fortune 500 companies. His skill set includes bio-medical science and building science research, project management, financial forecasting, sales and marketing, contract negotiations, and personnel management.
