Are You a Small or Minority A&E Firm?

The National Institute of Building Sciences seeks to increase its ability to engage with small and minority businesses in hopes of expanding our portfolio of subcontractors able to service our federal agency clients.

The Institute provides services to federal agencies through the evaluation and research of issues impacting the performance, durability, sustainability, resilience and operation of Federal Government facilities. In doing so, the Institute provides specific guidance on a variety of issues among others including design and construction criteria, enclosures protection, durability of building materials and products, operational and maintenance procedures and processes.

We are seeking minority and small businesses that possess capabilities that can provide services in the fields of engineering and architecture to assist the Institute in the delivery of information and guidance to meet project delivery requirements under future contracts and task orders.

If you have the competencies and abilities that meet these objectives, we invite you to submit a résumé of your company's capabilities and competencies for future consideration. You should indicate specifically whether you are able to certify that you are a Small Business under Small Business Administration size standards for NAICS codes related to engineering and architecture, and, if so, whether you are able to certify that you are a Small Disadvantaged Business, a Women-Owned Small Business, a Veteran-Owned or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, or a certified HUBZone Small Business. This is not a request for a proposal for any specific contract or a guarantee of selection for any specific contract and should not be considered as such. You may submit your statement of qualifications to: nibs@nibs.org with "Our Company Profile" in the subject line.
