Building Innovation: Who’s the 2024 Exceptional Woman in Building?

Time is running out for industry professionals to submit an abstract to present during Building Innovation 2017: The National Institute of Building Sciences Fifth Annual Conference and Expo, to be held January 9-12, 2017, at the Mandarin Oriental in Washington, D.C.
With the theme of Collaborating for a High-Performing Future, the Institute is reaching out to its council and committee members and inviting industry professionals to present during the four-day Conference. Industry leaders with valuable insights, case studies, best practices, lessons learned and/or remaining challenges are encouraged to share their knowledge and experiences with the broad audience of building industry stakeholders. Conference sessions will be delivered in four major tracks that relate to resilience and high-performance. Those tracks are:
Presentations should be 30 minutes in length with an additional 10 minutes for Q&A. Promotional presentations on products or services will not be considered. Presenters are invited to submit a 200-word abstract during this open call for speakers. Abstracts are due no later than midnight tomorrow, June 15, 2016, and should be submitted along with a 150-word biography.
Selected speakers will receive a complimentary registration to attend the day of their speaking event or a 50% discount on a full-conference registration to attend additional days.
National Institute of Building Sciences brings together labor and consumer interests, government representatives, regulatory agencies, and members of the building industry to identify and resolve problems and potential problems around the construction of housing and commercial buildings.
