Mark Dorsey, CAE, FASAE
CEO, Construction Specifications Institute (CSI)

Mark Dorsey, CAE, FASAE, serves as CEO of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), an Alexandria, Virginia association serving 7,500 members nationwide. Since joining CSI in 2015, the association doubled its assets, radically changed it governance structure and strategic approach, launched and managed for-profit initiatives related to the association, and revamped it approach to content, learning, and credentialing resulting in it best financial and membership performance in two decades.

Prior to CSI, Mark was CEO of the Professional Ski Instructors of America and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (PSIA-AASI), a 32,000-member nonprofit education association. During this period, PSIA-AASI saw record membership growth, record revenue, and award-winning communications and outreach programs, including a 2014 Power of A Summit Award.

For both CSI and PSIA-AASI, Mark guided significant governance change to enable stronger linkages between the board's preferred outcomes, implementing innovative non-dues revenue growth strategies, and rejuvenating the association's 501(c) 3 supporting foundations. Earlier in his career, he served PSIA-AASI and the National Ski Patrol concurrently as Marketing Director and later as Assistant Executive Director, where he expanded credentialing programs, sponsorships, and award-winning non-dues revenue and advertising programs in service of 56,000 members.

In addition to these roles, Mark has owned a consumer research company, bought and sold media in Seattle, WA, and Anchorage, AK, and served as Interim Executive Director—and later Chair—of Medical Education Collaborative, a non-profit continuing medical education corporation.

Mark is an active contributor to the association community, particularly through the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). A Certified Association Executive (CAE) and ASAE Fellow, Mark has served ASAE in many capacities including stints as a member of the ASAE Board of Directors, the ASAE Foundation Board, and Chair of the ASAE Research Committee.

Michael Schultz, SES
Chief of Interagency and International Services, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

Mr. Michael Schultz was appointed to the Senior Executive Service in September 2018 and serves as the Chief, Interagency and International Services (IIS) for the Headquarters, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). Mr. Schultz provides executive leadership in the development and management of all USACE enterprise strategic relationships and business initiatives in support of non-DoD federal agencies, state/ local/territorial/ and tribal governments, foreign governments, private firms, and both national and international non-governmental organizations. He synchronizes and integrates all IIS activities across the enterprise to ensure USACE core capabilities in engineering, design, construction, water resources, infrastructure development, real estate, research and development, disaster readiness, and environmental management products and services provide a source for engineering solutions to partners and stakeholders to enable the achievement of their mission. Internationally, Mr. Schultz formulates plans and strategies to leverage capabilities to provide contingency planning and capabilities to support the war fighter and for the projection of soft power to build trust, security assistance and cooperation, capacity, and interoperability among US allies and partners, Combatant Commands, and Department of State Country Teams in support of national security and foreign policy objectives. To provide Interagency and Interagency Services, the USACE workforce of approximately 37,000 Civilians and Soldiers is dispersed across the country and in more than 91 foreign countries providing reimbursable engineering expertise throughout the world.

Arthur Evans, Jr., PhD
CEO, American Psychological Association

Scientist-practitioner, clinical and community psychologist and health care innovator Arthur C. Evans Jr., PhD, is CEO of the American Psychological Association. In this position, he heads the leading scientific and professional organization representing psychology in the United States, with researchers, educators, clinicians, consultants and students as its members.

Before joining APA, Evans spent 12 years as commissioner of Philadelphia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Service, a $1.2 billion health care agency that is the behavioral health and intellectual disabilities safety net for 1.5 million Philadelphians. He realigned the agency’s treatment philosophy, service delivery models and fiscal policies to improve health outcomes and increase the efficiency of the service system. Evans has been recognized nationally and internationally for his work in behavioral health care policy and service delivery innovation. In 2015, he was recognized by the White House as an “Advocate for Action” by the Office of National Drug Control Policy. Evans is also regarded as a strong mental health advocate and has received several awards.

Evans holds or has held several faculty appointments including at the Yale University School of Medicine. Evans is the author or co-author of 40 peer-reviewed research articles and of numerous chapters, reviews and editorials. He a fellow and member of the board of trustees of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia.

John Hogan

John Hogan, Vice President of Design and Project Management, the Americas Full Service Core Brandsfor Marriott Global Design Americas, leads design andproject management teams, ensuring successful execution of full service hotel projectsfrom the initial planning stages through opening.

John brings extensive design and project management experience to his position. During his 25years with Marriott International, he has overseen the designand opening of more than 75hotels, 75Senior Living Service facilities, and was a key contributor to the domestic CapEx program. Through his passion for design and his commitment to delivering project excellence, he has proven to bea valuable resource to the owners, operators, and his team.

John holds an Architecture degree from the New York Institute of Technology,andis a licensed architectin Maryland, Delaware, and New York.

Mac Campbell, CTA, CVP
Deputy Director, Baltimore Convention Center

Mac Campbell, CTA, CVP is the Deputy Director at the 1.2 million sq. ft. Baltimore Convention Center. He oversees all facets of Center's operations including sales, logistics and aesthetics for a facility that services over a half million people annually for trade shows, conventions, and meetings. Mac began his career at the Center in 2012 as Director of Client Services.

Mac has championed the sustainability initiatives at the Center, developing new programs that lent to the facility receiving APEX/ASTM Green Meetings certification in 2015 and more recently the Maryland Green Registry Leadership Award in 2019. He takes pride in in creating opportunity for the Center to partner with local charities in Baltimore. Through staff volunteer work and the diversion of unused goods and food products from conventions, the Center is able to support the mission of several local not-for-profit agencies.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Baltimore Convention Center has been host to a 250-bed Federal Medical Station managed jointly by Johns Hopkins and the University of Maryland Medical System. Recently, the BCC also began hosting a food delivery distribution hub in a partnership between the City of Baltimore and Amazon to provide food to those who cannot access the public locations. Meanwhile, the Center's in-house cleaning staff are being trained through the ISSA's Cleaning Management Institute.

Mac holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Elon University with a major in Corporate Communications and General Music and a minor in Jazz Studies. He lives with his wife Megan and son Matthew in Rockville, Maryland and is an avid Washington Capitals fan.

Shari L. Solomon, Esq.

Shari L. Solomon, Esq. is president and founder of CleanHealth Environmental, LLC. CleanHealth provides infection prevention and industrial hygiene training and consulting services geared toward facility personnel and vendors responsible for infection prevention, cleaning and disinfection, and facility operations and maintenance practices. Ms. Solomon possesses more than 20 years of environmental consulting and federal regulatory experience. An attorney by trade, combined with her experience in the industrial hygiene field with a focus on infection prevention, Shari holds a unique expertise and understanding of liability prevention techniques, offering clients practical and valuable risk management solutions.

Prior to launching CleanHealth, Shari held the position as Director of Training with a full service industrial hygiene firm and was charged with the development and oversight of all training programs nationwide. Ms. Solomon's has trained thousands of individuals, both here and abroad, spanning 18 years. Shari also conducts indoor air quality and infection control services including policy and procedure program development, infection prevention evaluations, litigation support, and indoor air quality assessments.

Ms. Solomon is a Designated Trainer under the Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Technician Program (T-CHEST) from The Association for the Healthcare Environment (AHE) of the American Hospital Association. Shari is a Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC) through the ACAC and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida and a Juris Doctorate from The Catholic University of America.
