Los Angeles, CAYou learn to ride a bicycle by starting with a tricycle. Eventually the training wheels come off, and you can go many different places with many different types of bikes. The same can be said with the implementation of VDC in design-build delivery methods. You learn how to use VDC effectively and efficiently, and you never look back. You can scale VDC to your project across any industry. This session will focus on establishing strategies for using VDC during design and preconstruction through a series of case studies. We will talk about risk mitigation through early (and often) collaboration, centered around technology, and how this increases project performance. For those of us who haven’t learned how to ride a bike, you might be a little late to the party, but that doesn’t mean you can’t learn. And lucky for you, you might not have to start with a tricycle.
